Twinkie, Twinkie, Twinkle!

Happy Tuesday everyone!

This is actually my second post for today, so scroll down and see the MFT Bling Bounce post in order to enter your chance to win some blog candy!

Well, since it is Tuesday you know what that means! It is Twinkling Tuesday! Miss Madelynn has created another beautiful sketch for us to try! I know I say this every week but I just don't know how she comes up with them. Seriously, if left up to my own devises, I would just have the same layout for every card! LOL! Oh and guess what?!!!!! Madelynn now has her very own blog where she will be posting her awesome sketches so you can play along and upload your cards. Of course you can also upload them to SCS and PCP with the keyword MTTSC8 so that we can see them there. Now, here is my creation!

See, what I mean, Madelynn's sketches are more amazing every week! I think she just might have a career! I started this card off by stamping The Joy of Giving by Sarah Kay for Stamavie on white card stock and colored her in using my copics. Following Madelynn's sketch, I cut her out along with a piece of teal card stock using my nesties and popped her off the background. I then layered on purple and teal card stock along with two different kinds of DP. I had to slightly alter the sketch Madelynn, so I hope you can forgive me! I didn't cut my card to the right size so I had to put my band on the second level instead of the first and I also had to move my sentiment and include brackets instead. I am such a ninny head. Anywhoo, the brackets in the corners are made with teal card stock and have lots of little rhinestones on them. And the sentiment is from Lily and Tweet by Pink Cat Studio and mounted on purple and teal card stock.

Now it is time for you to check out the other DT girls' creations and they are so fabulous! Oh and we have one more Twinkie this week, please welcome my good friend Heather to the Twinkle Team! She is truly awesome!

And if a new Twinkie wasn't enough, my other friend Jessica, aka Madelynn's mommy, is offering up some blog candy! Here are the deets for that!

Here are the Official Rules: :)

1.) You must create a card using this sketch to be eligible to win the candy.

Now just a really quick Izzy story before I go. This morning I turned on the radio like a usually do and all the sudden Izzy started dancing! OMG it was so cute! She hasn't done that in forever! She just kind of bounces and sways to the beat! Just like her mommy! I better hurry and enroll her in dance before she actually thinks that is how you do it! LOL!

Have a great day and thank you as always for stopping by!
