I Ruff You Daddy!

Happy Friday!

Wow this week is just flying by! I can't believe it is Friday already! Still have a ton of stuff to do before next week, but luckily the list is getting shorter and shorter. Oh and I have my make up class at my local stamp store tomorrow! I am so excited! Hopefully I will have enough time tomorrow to take a picture of our creations. It should be a lot of fun!

So, Izzy and I had a very special treat yesterday. We got to eat lunch out with Daddy! It was so much fun! We went to California Pizza Kitchen and just had a relaxing time together. When we got home we played for a little while and then both Izzy and I took a nap. I guess I was just tired, I don't know. Anyways, after she got up, we stamped for awhile together. I know I have mentioned it previously but she loves to pretended to draw and color with my markers. So usually I give her a piece of paper and she picks out a marker and "colors" (cap on) with it! Well, yesterday was no different except she also wanted to put pop dots which she calls, "Poppa dos" and the cuttlebug machine! For some reason she loves to feed through my plates and turn the handle! So yesterday she created a beautiful little drawing, hopefully I will be able to capture it on film tomorrow. But I do have a picture of her making her awesome creation!

Okay so I actually have another really funny story about Izzy, but it is a tad bit inappropriate for my blog and not to mention embarrassing. So if you want to know that one, feel free to e-mail me and I will spill the beans! LOL!

So sorry, but I only have one post to share today. What with going out to lunch and my nap, I just didn't get as much done. Oh well, I am not watching Melaina today after all so I should have some time to make some creations.

Well as you know Valentine's day is tomorrow and I have tons of V. Day cards for myself and Izzy to give to Jason but as of yet, no cards for Tuxy (our Boston terrier) to give to him. So I had to remedy that. Here is my creation for Jason from Tuxy. I used this weeks Sketch For You To Try by Jen Del Muro for the layout.

Isn't it adorable!!!! I am so in love with this stamp! I have truly become a Greeting Farm addicted. And I think Jason has too! LOL! This is the only stamp set that Jason has ever told me I had to get! Can you believe it! Well of course he didn't have to tell me twice, I mean he might forget, so I ordered it! Anywhoo, I started this card off by stamping the dogs on the couch from Home Sweet Home by the Greeting Farm on white card stock and colored them in using my copics. I added touches of stitching to the couch to add even more character. Following the sketch, I next layered on kraft card stock, red card stock, blue card stock and some brand new Basic Grey Boxer DP that I just picked up from Archivers. I added faux stitching to everything, put a clip in the corner with two red ribbons and added some twine with a little love charm I had in my stash. To finish the card off, I glued on some white cotton balls where the stuffing was coming out of the couch. So, I would love to say that my genius mind came up with this idea all on my own, but alas it did not. It came from the amazingly talented Sandra McLean. She created this unbelievable card with a Hanna Stamp. I have been thinking about this idea ever since and I finally had the chance to use it! I really think Jason will like it. Seeing as how he loves anything with Boston Terriers on them.

Well, that is it for me today! I hope you have a wonderful Friday. Thanks as always for stopping by and leaving your amazing comments! I really appreciate them! Smiles!

Hey Janna!! Awww, Izzy is so adorable. . .I have a feeling she's going to be an artist when she grows up or a talented stamper like her mom!! She is so cute. .. she sure is hamming it for the camera!! Can't wait to see more pictures of her!

I love the cotton balls on your card! LOL! My dogs are always chewing up their toys and removing the stuffing from them so your cotton balls remind me of them.
