Happy Thursday everyone!
Well the work week is almost over again and I can hardly believe it! This week has flown by. And I can't believe this crazy weather. It was almost 80 on Tuesday and yesterday it only got up into the 30's!! Goodness, my poor sinuses can't handle this. And not to mention poor Izzy she is so confused. Poor baby asked me all day yesterday about going outside because it looked so, so nice, but it was freezing. I can hardly wait until the crazy temperature fluctuations are over!
Izzy still had a good time yesterday besides not being able to go outside. She has a new game that she likes to play called put all my toys to bed. She takes all her toys and puts them in her crib. Of course she says, "Night, Night" every time she drops one in. It makes it difficult at naptime because I have to clear out all the toys! She has also figured out the game of dressing up! She goes into her room and pulls out hats and shoes and tries them on. Well yesterday she got out her Cardinals hat and her patent Maryjane (she could only find one of them) and was parading around the house. Here is a picture of her hiding from me! LOL!
So as I mentioned in my title, I have my Watchadoin' Wednesday Card today!! Yeah, I know I am a day late, but hey I got it done! LOL!
The challenge this week was a pretty simple one. Create an Easter card. And the best part is SUINK has a great new Easter Stamp Set this is too, too cute! It has two main images and a whole bunch of adorable accessories, not to mention the wonderful sentiments. Well for my card I decided to incorporate another sketch and used Jen Del Muro's, from I Heart 2 Stamp's, sketch challenge for the layout.
Isn't this the cutest sketch and the Easter set works so perfectly with it! I started out this card by stamping the little boy and the egg from You're Some Bunny Special by SUINK on white card stock and colored them in using my copics. Following the sketch, I layered on blue, green and brown card stock along with some DP from Bo Bunny. I stamped the sentiment on green card stock and stuck it across my image with two blue brads. To finish the card off, I popped off my main image and then the egg that I cut out. I really wanted it to look like he was carrying an egg.
Well that is it for me today. Be sure to check out the rest of the design team's creations. They are absolutely amazing!! Smiles!
Peep-a-boo! Too cute Janna!
