Club Anya is a Hoppin' and a Swingin'!!!

Happy Saturday everyone!!!

Hope you are having a great start to your weekend. My parents and my two nieces are in town so it is going to be a great one! All three girls were playing yesterday and having a grand ol' time. Izzy, who usually asks to go to bed early because she can't wait to take her bath actually was crying because she didn't want to stop playing. It was so sweet! I remember being like that with my cousins. I had two girl cousins who were 8 years older and 4 years older than me and I would follow them everywhere! It was always so much fun to tag along and I felt so grown up. I just hope Izzy has that same experience.

Well boy do I have an Izzy story to share with you today. Yesterday, Izzy and I were cleaning the house before my parents came and I had given Izzy a wipe to clean with. So she is sitting on the floor wiping off the hardwood when I look over and she is cleaning the bottom of her feet. I thought how sweet, she wants to clean her feet! What a cutie! Then, as I am watching her, I see her pick up her foot, lick the bottom and then clean it off again with her wipe!!! Yuck!!! EWWW! Gross!! Where in the world did she learn that?! Must be from her father! LOL!! So kidding Jason! But seriously! Gross and she just kept doing it!! Ahh kids, can't live with em' can't live without em'! LOL!!!

Okay so you are here for some more Club Anya and The Greeting Farm Sneak Peeks. Well today I have a digital twofer for you! That is right! Two new digital stamps will be released tomorrow after our blog hop starting at 7 a.m. CST. And boy are they cute!!!! We have a new stamp that is the cutest Easter Anya and a Baseball Ian who will put you in the mood for spring! So without further ado, here they are!!!!

First up in the Team Anya lineup is the beautiful Eater Anya! She is perfect for Easter and will be a go to favorite for this year! She has the best little expression on her face and would be great not only for Eater cards but for charms and Eater baskets as well because she is digital and can be resized to match whatever you need!!! For my take on her, I decided to use her on an Easter card.

So, I just realized I used the same paper for her as I did for my pinwheels!! LOL!! Guess I really, really like it!! I started this card off by printing the new Easter Anya by The Greeting Farm that will be released tomorrow on white card stock and colored her in using my copics. I decided to use Sketch Challenge 193 at SCS for the layout. Following the sketch, I layered on brown and yellow card stock along with papers by Heidi Grace Designs. I used brown ribbon from American Craft for the ribbon and tied three bows. For the sentiment, I stamped a piece of white card stock with the sentiment from the soon to be released Wild Things and distressed the edges with a sponge and some barely banana ink. To complete the card, I added some brown pearls above and below the sentiment I cut out with my nesties. I really wanted to create a card for Easter that had more earthy tones! And lots of brown!

Now for Baseball Ian!! There is quite a story behind this card. I actually went to Archiver's looking for some awesome baseball paper. We are Cardinals fans in this house and I figured of course they would have some great Cardinals paper! And imagine how excited I was when I saw that there was going to be a Cardinals Crop coming up!!! Yay, I thought! There definitely will be cardinals paper!! Um, no! Nothing, zero, nada, zilch, insert your no word here! I was shocked. So of course I was forced to shop around the store looking for boy papers that I could use instead. I am editing out the fact that I then picked up lots of other paper. But still, no baseball paper. So I had to settle for this awesome paper instead! LOL!

As soon as I saw this week's sketch over at SCS, I knew it would work for my baseball card. The triangle piece really looked like a pennant and I couldn't wait to make my card up!! I started off by printing off Baseball Ian by The Greeting Farm on white card stock and colored him in using my copics. Following the sketch, I layered on dark teal, red and kraft card stock along with some DP from Three Bugs In A Rug. For the "Go Team" letters, I used my cricut machine to cut out kraft and dark teal. I placed them across the top and side of the card. To complete the look, I added three red brads down the side of my image and popped him off the back! I can't wait to give it to my neighbor's son who starts baseball practice next week!

Well I am very long winded today! Sorry, but I am so excited and had so much to share! Now go check out the rest of the DT's creations!!!! They are incredible! And make sure you stop back by tomorrow starting at 7 a.m. CST for the Guess that Anya blog hop!! It is going to be so much fun!
Lots of Smiles!!!
