MFT November Ambassador Challenge #2

Happy Wednesday morning!

This is a very quick and sweet post (I will be posting more this afternoon). Tonight is the November release party over at the MFT forum on SCS. The party starts at 9 p.m. EST so I hope to see you there! Anywhoo, as part of being an ambassador for the month of November I get to host a challenge. Yeah!!! So my challenge to you is to create a card using ribbon in a fun and interesting way. Details and posting instructions can be found here. Do Not post your entries to this blog if you want to be included in the drawing! Although I will enjoy looking at them, you will not be entered to win and that would be a shame!

Here is mine!

I used the stamp set Merry Christmas? by MFT for the main image. I started off by stamping her on a piece of whisper white, three kinds of DP and purple, variegated, shear ribbon (for the carpet)! I cut them all out and paper pieced them together. I then used 1/8 in. turquoise blue ribbon to accent the wallpaper. I also used it to create a border around the picture. Lastly, I added some silver rickrack that I received from my wonderful grandmother-in-law to the tree. I colored everything else in and mounted it to a piece of black, a piece of DP and another piece of black. I popped it off a piece of DP and then tied a piece of purple satin ribbon at the bottom. (I had to have a bow in there somewhere!) For the appletini, I stamped the image on a piece of white card stock and a piece of green gross grain ribbon. I placed the cut out ribbon on top of the cut stamped image and colored in the rest. I cut it out with my nesties along with a piece of black and a piece of DP. I finished the card off by popping it off the surface. I hope you all come out to play!
Thanks and see you later!
